Train hard. Know what your food is missing.

Log your meals and see the nutrients that matter for your training, not just the calories.

General sports-nutrition guidelines, not medical advice. Every target is editable.

How are my targets calculated?

Vitamins and minerals are the published RDA for your age and sex. Protein and carbohydrate are set per kilogram from the ACSM sports-nutrition position stand, at the low end of each range. For endurance training, iron needs may be up to 70% higher; the app starts from that upper figure as an estimate you can edit. It never recommends supplements. Read the guides

Questions

Before you start.

The ones people ask first, and coaches ask twice. All questions

How accurate is the nutrition data?

Whole foods come from USDA FoodData Central, the US government’s nutrient database. Packaged products come from Open Food Facts, copied from the label, so they often carry only what the label lists. When a nutrient isn’t in the source data, the app shows it as missing rather than guessing. All food data carries some error, so read the numbers as good estimates and look at the weekly average, not one day.

How do photo estimates work?

The photo is resized in your browser and sent to our server, which asks Google’s Gemini to name the foods and estimate each portion. You check and edit every item before anything is logged, and the nutrients come from the USDA database, not from the AI. A portion judged from a photo is a guess, so adjust it if it looks off. We don’t store the photo. Free accounts get 5 a week. Pro has no weekly limit, just a fair-use daily one.

Where is my data stored, and who can see it?

As a guest, your diary stays in your browser and never leaves it. With an account, it’s stored in our database with row-level security, so each account can only read its own rows. Nobody else sees your diary. If you join a coach’s team with their code, that coach sees the name you chose and your weekly % of target for eight nutrients, never your foods, weight or calories. Leave the team and that summary is deleted. No ads, and your data is never sold. You can export your diary or delete everything at any time.

Is this medical advice?

No. It’s a food diary with general sports-nutrition guidelines, not a medical device. Talk to a doctor or registered dietitian before big changes, and especially if you have a medical condition, are pregnant, have a history of disordered eating, or need precise carbohydrate counts for insulin.

How can the diary be free forever?

The food data is public and a diary is cheap to run. What costs us money on every use is the AI that reads photos and voice logs, so that is most of what Pro pays for. No ads and no selling data: that’s the whole business model.
